Independent, 60 minute sessions

Non-mounted; all our work is ground based
Activities at liberty (open area, not handling the horse)
In-hand (with the horse)

Emergency Workers, First Responders, Military (Active & Veteran/Retired)
Army, Naval, Airforce, RCMP, Police, Fire, EMS
Athletes (High Performance & Leisure, Active & Retired)
Sports Psychology Skills, Injury-related Issues, etc.
Independent Individuals
Range of clients - anyone who feels they could benefit from Equine Facilitated Learning, whichever reasons propelled them here, we are happy to have you!
Professionals (inclusive of child/youth care workers, victims services workers, corporate organizations wishing for training in teamwork and leadership etc.
We are currently only offering services to adult clients, but hope to expand services for youth in future!
Our clients are facing life with an array of unique experiences, some come to us experiencing one or several of the following: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Communication difficulties, Challenges with Trust, Leadership needs, Self-Worth empowerment needs, Grief & Loss, and so many more!
We currently do not specialize in providing services to one specific group - we are here to help you, with where you are at, in your own time.
We are currently only offering Equine Facilitated Learning & Equine Assisted Growth and Development
As our team expands and we add full-time mental health care professionals (Psychotherapists, Psychologists, Counsellors), we will be able to offer focused Equine Assisted Therapy services where our equine specialist works with a designated/chosen Mental Health Worker.
Time spent working with and around horses has been shown to have therapeutic benefits (honestly, you just feel good after being with them!) which increase quality of life. Horses can:
Reduce Stress (Increase Endorphins = happiness, Decrease Cortisol = Stress)
Increase Confidence
Improve Trust & Communication
Teach Assertiveness & Impulse Control
Teach Boundary Setting
Develop Empathy, Relationship, and Social Skills
Offer the experience of Responsibility
Help Boost Self-Esteem
Support Emotional Management
